Easy options trading has always sounded like a contradiction. In derivatives, every setup has a catch and every position has a way to go wrong, and for most perp traders, the options tab sitting right next to their perp chart has stayed closed for exactly that reason. Not because the strategy was wrong for them, but because the interface looked like a different language. Easy Mode is our answer to that. It’s options made easy: the same real options contracts, stripped down to three questions anyone trading perps already knows how to answer.

The half we already fixed
A few months ago we tackled the first half of this problem. Perp traders looked at an options chain and saw a different game entirely: strikes at intervals they didn’t choose, expiries to manage, Greeks to watch in real time. So we built hedge perps with options, which let traders keep trading perps while borrowing options-shaped protection on top, all without ever touching an options screen.
PERPS+ solved that for traders who wanted to stay in their perp position and add protection around it. It didn’t solve it for traders who want the option itself: a standalone view, no perp attached, any strike, any expiry, on BTC, ETH, or HYPE. That was the half we hadn’t touched, until now.

Was the interface the only thing missing?
Strip an option down to its core and it’s really just three decisions: which way, how far, and by when. Everything past that, the strike ladder, the Greeks, the expiry calendar, is presentation, not substance. So we asked a simple question: what if trading the option itself took nothing more than those three decisions?
